Yet another 'dumdum'

Here's some shocking news! Steam doesn't give away free games!
Today, I had a friend lose his account to the bad guys. My hacked friend sent out a different message this time which was quite unusual:
Pixels: Hey NVIDIA Giving free games!!!
http://steams-4-free.tk/
Pixels is now Offline.
**DO NOT GO TO THIS LINK**

If you use Steam and get a message like this, DONT OPEN THE LINK!

They are using phishing sites that ask you to log-in to your Steam account and the only difference is the address is slightly changed.

The last time this happened to my friend it was a "click here for 4 free steam games" and this one manged to attract 3 people on my friends list.

After the person logs into 'their account' on the site, it instantly takes over the account and changes all the information, account name and password so you cant log in to play your games.

If you poke around Steam's site, they say that Steam Employees will never ask for your account name or password and all transactions are made through the client program. So, if you get an offer and it's not through the official client, then its not true.

To save you time, the real site is http://store.steampowered.com/

Steam is a great place to get games like:
Bioshock 2
Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition
Half Life 2
Half-Life 2: Collector's Edition
Counter-Strike: Source
Team Fortress 2
